Position Description

This role is responsible for evaluating, governing, and optimizing technology solutions across the organization IN MEXICO, ensuring alignment with IT standards, security requirements, and strategic objectives. Operating at the intersection of IT, security, and business operations, it supports the review and approval of technology initiatives, assesses risk and impact, and ensures scalable, compliant implementations through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

• Governance and Compliance: Leads the review process for new technology, ensuring compliance with established IT standards, policies, and legal/regulatory requirements.

• Strategic Alignment: Evaluates technology requests to ensure they align with the organization’s long-term IT strategy and infrastructure capacity.

• Risk Management: Identifies and mitigates technology risks, conducting root-cause analysis and validating control design.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitates meetings to gain consensus on strategic decisions among stakeholders, department leaders, and vendors.

• Project and Change Management: Manages the technical review backlog, tracking changes from intake through implementation to ensure stability and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Strong background in IT infrastructure, software/hardware configurations, and security protocols.

• Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Analytical Abilities: Ability to analyze business needs and evaluate technical specifications.

• Experience: Usually requires a degree in IT or a related field, plus significant experience in technology management or governance
