Job Responsibilities & Requirements
- Partner with product managers to identify and prioritize system features and functionalities that enhance operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the TM Solutions team to provide timely effort estimates for custom and bespoke assessment builds.
- Act as a liaison between product managers, R&D scientists, and assessment builders to align priorities and ensure seamless execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree may be preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role, such as product management, project management, or business analysis.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product managers, R&D teams, and technical teams.
- Familiarity with assessment tools, systems, or related technologies is a plus.
Project & Process Management
- Design, implement, and maintain tracking systems and stakeholder meetings to manage project requests effectively and ensure timely task completion.
- Lead weekly standups and retrospective meetings to communicate priorities, manage tasks, and drive continuous process improvement.
- Identify gaps and risks throughout project cycles, collaborating with leadership to ensure the successful delivery of content migration initiatives and client projects.
Operational Excellence & Quality Assurance
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features and functionalities as required.
- Establish, document, and reinforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
- Maintain and update SOPs and documentation in response to new features, functionalities, and evolving processes.
- Facilitate, triage, and troubleshooting assessment errors to ensure a seamless user experience.
Team Development & Leadership
- Set annual goals and uphold performance standards for team members.
- Provide coaching, support, and ongoing training to ensure knowledge transfer and team engagement.
- Serve as a key resource for R&D scientists, helping them upskill in using the modular assessment engine effectively.
- Lead and encourage team participation in company-wide initiatives.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in the discovery and ideation of new item types, contributing to the prototype development process as needed.
- Co-lead projects with R&D scientists, acting as a bridge between product managers and scientific teams.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance assessment-building processes and drive innovation.
- Advocate for platform improvements, gathering insights from users and cross-team collaboration to inform technology and/or assessment enhancements.
- Lead change management efforts when rolling out new processes, features, or workflows to ensure smooth adoption.
Cross-Functional Communication & Technical Fluency
- Act as a cross-functional translator, ensuring technical concepts are communicated effectively across R&D, Product, CX, Solutions, and Consulting.
- Develop deep expertise in assessment technology platforms, staying current with evolving system capabilities, terminology, and workflows.
- Proactively identify roadblocks in assessment implementation and recommend scalable, efficient solutions.

- Deep understanding of modular assessment design---both conceptually and at a tactical user level.
- Strong grasp of system capabilities and gaps, identifying where improvements can enhance the assessment-building experience.

- Fluency in cross-functional language, understanding how different teams (R&D, Product, CX, Solutions, Consulting) refer to the same functionality in different ways.
- Strong technical and assessment acumen, with the ability to navigate assessment technology platforms, troubleshoot issues, and identify areas for improvement.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term strategic improvements.
- Ability to direct one's and others' work independently in complex environments, synthesizing information across multiple platforms and multiple teams with minimal guidance.
